The remit
Joined CloudM as an intern web developer to gain hands-on experience under the mentorship of a senior developer.
The work
The redesign's tech stack and constraints were already set by senior developers familiar with the existing site. Implementation was left open. That included the dynamic parts: accordion menus that had to open, close, and pass data through cleanly, the hardest part of the redesign to get right.
The outcome
No friction day to day: every day doubled as a chance to build new skills in a safe environment, picking up Sass and SCSS along the way.
